FUNKEN x MAIN Residency – Chemnitz, Germany (2025)
ArtScence residency (Sep–Nov 2025) investigating physics as a medium for experimental artistic research, from nanoscale phenomena to audiovisual expression. The residency included a week-long workshop with Art and Music students, which I mentored, and collaborative research with scientists from the MAIN Research Center labs at TU Chemnitz. FUNKEN Academy facilitated the program, supporting interdisciplinary experimentation and knowledge exchange between art and science.
It is co-financed with tax funds based on the budget approved by the Saxon State Parliament.
This initiative is part of the larger program for the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 motto "C the Unseen".


Planet Ears Residency – Mannheim, Germany (2025)
Week-long residency at Alte Feuerwache Mannheim in collaboration with musicians Thilo Eichhorn, Fulgeance, and Ephraim Giepen. Focused on developing improvisational audiovisual performance and exploring experimental methodologies in real-time sound and visual interaction.
Planet Ears Residency and Festival, Mannheim, are presented by the non-profit Alte Feuerwache Mannheim gGmbH and supported by the City of Mannheim and the Ministry of Science, Research and Arts Baden-Württemberg.
Mars Residency – Berlin, Germany (2025)
Three-month residency at School of Machines, Berlin, supporting the development of prototype artworks. The residency provided dedicated time for experimentation, iterative development, and international artistic exchange. Works produced were presented as prototypes in the Mixed Up! group show, highlighting research-driven exploration and collaborative experimentation. My work was the ongoing audiovisual installation Echoes of the Matrix.


STOP OVER 1 Residency – Berlin, Germany (2024)
Week-long interdisciplinary residency bringing together twenty artists from music, performance, and visual arts to activate four halls in House 4 of the Alte Münze as workshops, rehearsal spaces, living areas, and platforms for exchange. Activities included music, performances, open rehearsals, installations, discourse, and public engagement, emphasizing improvisation, collaboration, and experimental approaches.
The residency is part of the development of a new institution for jazz, improvised music, and contemporary music in Berlin, supporting production, research, education, and cross-genre networking.

Fluxus Residency – Wiesbaden, Germany (2023)
FLUXUS “Pip pip, aio oia” residency at Kunsthaus Wiesbaden, part of the Wiesbadener Kunstsommer FLUXUS S(I)EX TIES 2023. The residency explored improvisation, intermedia performance, and participatory art through live performances at the Kunsthaus and urban flashmob interventions.
Collaborating artists included Birgit Wieger (movement/action), Sanja Star (video/action), Silvia Sauer (voice/action), Ulrike Schwarz (alto saxophone, flute/action), Wolfgang Schliemann (percussion/action), Ulrich Phillipp (double bass/action), Ingo Deul (percussion/action/composition), and Mareike Buchmann (movement/action). The residency focused on interdisciplinary experimentation, ephemeral performance, and the integration of sound, movement, and visual media.
The "Pip pip, aio oia" residency at Kunsthaus Wiesbaden, part of the Wiesbadener Kunstsommer FLUXUS S(I)EX TIES 2023, was funded by the
Kulturamt der Landeshauptstadt Wiesbaden (Cultural Office of the State Capital Wiesbaden) and the Kulturfonds Frankfurt RheinMain.
The residency was a project of the association Kooperative New Jazz e.V..
6th Silk Road International Art Residency, Xi’an China (2019)
Government-supported residency by the City of Xi’an. Three-week interdisciplinary program including the Pitch Shifting AV duo (Sanja Star and Grgur Savić) and multiple international artists, exploring improvisational audiovisual performance. Collaborations included dancers Sveta Bird and Daniel Drago, among others, and mentorship from the residency’s artistic director (from Shanghai theatre). Focus on research-driven experimentation, dialogue between sound, visuals, and movement, and cross-cultural artistic exchange.
